sandblast them, epoxy primer, and a good single stage automotive paint. they,ll last a long time.

Good idea carl,  I have found that an angle grinder with i really, Really stiff twist type wire cup brush works fast and effective.

The wire cup brushes are under 10 bucks at princess auto or other hardware stores.

Any good spray paint will work, i would avoid tremclad tho, it chalks up really fast and takes forever to dry.  Try krylon, or something faster drying.

Have to agree with you guys here.  That's how I did at 16.

Nice rims to fix up Jonathan.  They can look really nice.

Do what i did, let your friend who works for the city take them and they come back done. I don't even ask what he did, but i buy him wendy's, cheaper than a can of paint.

Please keep the posts and the questions coming Jonathan.  You are not the only one who gets value out these great questions.  Look how many different responses you get from one question.  This is great education for everyone who has an open mind and a closed wallet!
