Out of curiousity, with regards to the chrome console filler plate (where the clock would go if the tach is in the dash)... Was chroming these an aftermarket action (much like I believe many have done with the gilles on the 67 SD), or was this a factory thing?

the console emblems were chromed and painted black and the paint has been scrached off, im not sure but i dont think there is such thing as rare chevelle emblems. lol
