Anybody in London Ont today?

I still remember the blizzard of '77 but this past 48 hrs have been crazy.
There has been more snow fall, over 100 centimeters in this time frame than all last year from Halloween to Easter. The mayor almost declared a state of emergency today, but I think the stigma of being called a woosie is the only reason he didn't.
I barely  got out of town yesterday but like an idiot today I went back. This time driving a Jeep Cherokee with winter tires and stayed on the main arteries. Then less than 10 klms. to the east it was sunshine in Woodstock by 3:00 with a light dusting on the ground. Lake effect streamers!!nono

we moved here from BC in that 1977 Storm...left a 13 degree winter in BC to come to a blizzard that closed the city....I was like...ummm dad...is this the North Pole?
now my 12 yr old son is experiencing what I did at age 4

9:43 pm and for once...not a flake of snow for couple hours....but ....I wont hold my breath....LOL.....thank god for 4wd !I thnk the only thing that has irratated me with the snow is drivers:
Going to slow, Going to fast, Applying make up, cell phones, reading, yes I said read behind the wheel (saw that today on way to work), bald tires, over anxious drivers,
and knowing when the roads are to bad and you have no experience behind the wheel in weather like this then get the hell off the road and stay home! We live in Can a duh...land of the snow....I bet 9 out of 10 drivers that had either ditched their vehicle, or hit something or another vehicle is caused from one if not more of the above....ok I ranted enuff. LOL
Drive safe everyone and Merry Christmas not Happy Holidays :)

We got dumped on here in Ingersoll last night. About 15cm of fresh snow on the ground this morning and it's still coming down. There's a squall line going right over town right now. I'm going to attempt to get to work but if the 401 is bad I'm getting off and coming home. It ain't worth it!

50 miles north   Remember there was no snow last Wednesday!!!

We have received 3.7 feet of snow

All the residents feel "entitled to go"
so I had to blow driveway this morn, so wife could go to funeral reception in Homesville 7mile out......

apparently Closed roads! and closed schools! and whiteouts are for everyone else  nono

AND ITS STILL COMING!!!!!!!     ITS STILL FALL?  RIGHT?

I'll take snow any time, sorry.

This may explain why. The top picture is easier to deal with!
