65-67 beaumont or chevelle Vinyl top trim

I actually have this pinch weld stainless trim you talk of.
It is from a 66 HT

You are the first person to ever mention it.
it is factory, but i dont think many people realize it.

Anyway, off to work, will chat later about it more.
I dont need it, i have had it for a couple years, i saved it because i knew it was rare!

Is this the divider strip that goes between the vinyl top and the painted rear quarter at the base of the C pillar?

If so. Here's what I've found

65 is a whole different beast than 66 and 67
66 and 67 can differ by year and also model number

The piece you are talking about is different on the 66-67 than the 65 and runs between the rear quarter window down low and the bottom of the rear window. The piece I'm talking about sits low in the drip rail and runs the length of the drip rail. The drip rail cap is also a different part than what I'm talking about. It sounds like BeaumontGuru has the peice so I will post it when or if he sells it to me. It's for the 65 Cheetah so hopefully he will.

Found them!

They are from a 66 chevelle canadian car
Originals, Stainless steel
54" long with relief cuts every 3/4" or so
Excellent condition
They fit down inside the rain gutter to lock the vinyl top down

Never seen another set in my life! But they are totally correct
