Huh. Used to throw those away when upgrading to an aluminum intake & Holley carb. Now they are in demand. Oh well ...

Good luck, maybe someone has one they never got around to throwing away, eh?

keep in mind the 69 manifold will have the heater hose outlet by the #2 cylinder.  That's because they moved the alternator to the passenger side in '69, so the outlet needed to move from above the timing cover to the top of the intake.

yes, 70 is low profile.   Also, the spot for the choke thermostat is different.  In 69 it's kind of a well, whereas 70 is a small machined platform.

You did get one for sure    I got this note from Old Gold in N.B.

I see on the Poncho site theres a fellow(WAGON64SD) looking for a cast iron big block dome.A friend of mine has one and he wants $75.00 for it. It is coded K(November) 8(1968) so it should be 1969. Could probably freight it to Ontario in the $25.00 range,if thats where he lives.Just thought Id let you know in case he couldnt find one.

I would say 80 bucks is a good price. My notes say that 3931067 was used on all 69 big block engines with hydraulic lifters and is identical to 3883948 except the heater hose nipple has been moved from front of the intake to the top of the intake runner to the left of the thermostat housing.  Was used for chevelle, camaro, nova 396 engines 325 and 350 HP and passenger car 427 335 and 390 hp.

Watch out for the intake manifold from the pick-up. It has the same part number but has an extra water outlet where the pen is pointing in the picture.
