RE: Look what I dragged home yesterday

Sure glad I asked because that's what I'd being doing to a new Camaro. Love the front and the ram air hood. Not so sure I like the chrome bumber out back. Needs something different there.

Can't wait to see it all done.

They are sure on the right track. Wow, that front end is aggressive!

They haven't nailed the rear treatment yet though, I agree.

It needs more of a retro style set of exhaust splitters.

No ...I'm not going to order that option, I already have an option similar to that but not as new.  A new option like that would only cause me grief and besides I really love the option I have now.

Some of the appearance options can be deceiving. Often you're better off to spend money on functional options than options that strictly have visual appeal.

Yes, I agree, performance before looks when choosing options.

Sorry guys...68SD distracted me by updating the pic and introducing the high dollar "blonde" option to the discussion. I know, I know focus, focus...

Seeing the back of the car i'd want it with a lower wing, or no wing and instead of wrap around tail lights with lenses out, flat tail lights like the original 69 style. I like the bumper. The challenge i see is the rear deck being so high. Just from my eyes perspective

Agreed. Tough to do retro with a rear panel so huge and make it look proper.

Maybe flip the bumper and put it under the plate would look better???? Tough to say.

THICKER REAR BUMPER MAYBE??? TO ME IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE KICKED IT IN THE A$$. TOO MUCH GOING ON, ON THE TOP HALF, NOT ENOUGH ON THE BOTTOM HALF TO BALANCE IT OUT. I THINK THE FRONT LOOKS VERY GOOD.

The idea of putting the 67-68-69 Pontiac tail lights on might work but then agin I don't think the back of the car is square enough that those would look good.  I am open to all ideas.
Does anybody know what car those tail lights might be taken from? I am in the process of doing a search to see if I can find a better tail light but so far I have found nothing that I like.  And its tough.... most cars on the net are shown from the front and not the rear.
I like the bumper where it is, but that leaves the panel below the bumper too large.

I have some time so I'll keep lookin and thinkin.
