new wheels for the 66?

these are the wheels we are thinking of going with.    18 inch on the 66 parisienne 2 dr ht what do you think? these are boyd coddington "junk yard dogs" about $470. each its my biggest decision on the car so far, as they "make it or break it"

A member here, 1965CS, has almost the identical wheel on his 65 Custom Sport ragtop and they suit it well. I'll find some pictures from car shows.

ok, found a pic.  I think you should go with those wheels Colin!

They are similar to my Coys.  I would go with the 18", mine are 17".

its been a 50/50 split, between the torque thrusts, and the boyds for about 6 mos now. i cant decide. the torqe thrusts, i can get for $200 ea. as for the boyds, @$470 ea. they look so close, but yet so different. the price doesnt matter. its the look i,m after. which one do i go with? we need more oppinions. thnx

I actually like it when you can get further from the torque thrust look... more like boyd magneato... shiny bling is nice! sets the car off, 18's will look great!
