'67 Parisienne 2 + 2 .............the other end of the spectrum

OK forget that this car is for sale in California for an insane amount of money, just look at the car itself. The ad says one of 20 with those options and I believe it. smile

Wow

It may not be worth 20g in the retail market, but if I had extra, it would be in my collection

I love the red interior!!!!!!!!!!

THis is an exampleof "rare" not being valuable. I think its a cool car...... BUT it's a 6 with a glide. Now if it was a 396 4 speed, it would have brought a lot more at B-J.
I wonder how much has been spent on eBay fee"s. It's been advertised for a few years now.

Jeez I guess I am Jonnocomelately to the party on this one.

The fact that it is a six makes it unusual. So, 20 2+2 six cylinders for '67. Neat, I wonder if any were three on the tree?

It a weird thing.  It makes you wonder about the kind of guy who wanted a car that looked like it was hot but wasn't.  I more understand the other way of thinking like 427 Carls sleeper car but not this way. (More of a snoozer)

Still as a guy who drive a 250 powered 70 chev pickup with a slushbox, they are real sweethearts of engines as long as you don't like too much excitement.

However I hear a few guys are perking them up these days with fuel injection and that might be in a cards from mine. (someday)

Ever since Hemmings Classic Car did an issue spotlighting the Chevrolet straight six engines about a year ago I am a lot more aware of them. As Ken says, what was the original person who ordered this car thinking - for sure outside the box. Not only the engine, but the colour combination with the red interior, it works, but Wow!

I think you could put red guts in any car and get away with it. I've seen some strange combinations but this one is likely the strangest one.

I guess he wasn't as weird as i thought.  Some of us figure this person was kinda eccentric but cool plus 19 other people bought the same kind of car.

In Canada that's almost enough to elect a government!

I think that is 19 different people ordered a 2+2 with a six cylinder engine. That is what I read into this 1 of 20 stuff anyway. If 20 people ordered a 2+2 with a six and this colour combination, I would be surprised.

I would bet that no one "ordered a 6 cyl"   I would expect, dealer ordered them for stock...  2 cents

This car would be a honey with a big block added (carefully and correctly)

i know that it a rare car with the six but that dosnt always make it desirable, as far as the car itself its very nice combo to bad they didnt order it with something bigger
