Hi. Have 2 327 Qjets. Not sure if on correct site. My question is if you have chev sm. blk. Cnd. made cars either chev or pont. Will this make a diff. in the carb #? The one is 7026202 M5 DB and other is 7027202 M3 DB. Chev is Division 0,1 2 and Pont. is 6,7. From what I can find out 1966 327 and 67 327-350. Both orig. diaphram needles with the 67 converted. My question is If you had cnd. built pnt. would the second last digitbe 0,1,2 for chev or be 6,7 for pont. considering they are all chev. motors. Can these be considered Pontiac cnd. Orig.? One was off my 66 Caprice and other? note: 66 used diaphram secendary dampening.
The number will match the engine, not the car, so it will be a Chevrolet number. Again just a numbers game, Edelbrock carbs work on all engines, they have no numbers to match to manufacture, Quadrajets will work on all engines too, Ford even used Quadrajets.
