No Food Darren, man that has to hurt.

Hey Carl, I am 196 cm tall so if you got 200 cm that's enough to bury Big Ray, man that's a lot of snow! How do the pets cope ?

I just had to respond while I'm drinking my Tim's and walked the kids to school with a summer jacket. They would have to pay me well with no Tim's and cold blowing snow.

It's nasty with that wind chill. The roads are still sheer ice here. I'm glad I cleared the laneway of all that slush before it flash froze last night. Luckily we've only had about 4cm since yesterday. As usual, it looks like you are getting hammered. I'm surprised you stay in Clinton!

4 degrees F here, swirling wind and still snowing, pretty bad when you have to shovel a path to your snowblower

I've seen that truck, you could make it to Moosonee !

Beacuse Toronto is so big it generates a lot of heat and so many underground tunnels downtown snow basically melts when it lands BUT we have shear ice on the side streets and sidewalks with the wind chill and low temperatures today.

The City uses a new formula of brine to coat the arterial roads, when it dries you'd swear the road was snow covered, the roads are white but clear where they use it.
It was so icy today that the City actually sent out small tractors to salt the sidewalks, that was a nice bonus but Paramedics were still responding all morning to slip and falls downtown.

We're getting some heavy rain here, some wind. They've revised the rainfall warning to 80-130 mm of rain.
If this was falling as snow I'd just be crying. disbelief

Power just went out for the 4th time since 6:30 this morning, If I knew someone who worked at OPGC I'd complain eh Darren wink On top of that we have had a couple of brown outs, that's kinda freaky if you've never experienced that.

Ian we still have lots of deer meat around but with this wind and snow they are hiding in the cedars,we did find a turkey though(in the tractor trailer freezer next door)biggrin  Ray i could complain but no one listens to us lower step ladder rungs! Brown outs are reduced voltage/amperage i think (Ian might be able to explain it better)

Hi all,

I live in Petrolia, Ontario which is very near Sarnia, Ontario.

We've been getting hammered from a streamer coming in over Lake Huron, much like London, Ontario did last week.

Here are a few pictures out the front and back door of my house. Almost all of this snow is from the last 24 hours. I tried to take my daughter back to school last night, but turned around pretty quick. It is NASTY !!

Expecting another 6 to 8 inches and 90 kmh winds overnight.

Yikes,

Scott
