Need help with paint color choice?

Help,
I want to paint my 1970, you guys know it, just not sure what color? Original...?
Any ideas, I was thinking Brandywine kandy, its hard when you inside is a "greeny/Gold.
Thanks
Bill

Let me consult my dealer paint and interior charts from 1962 to 1972 and give you some suggestions. What code is your interior?

Brandywine kandydisbelief won't impress those wanting to buy the car, later, as a rare 1970  Are you keeping it now?

burgundy,s and greens dont go. you,re looking at black, light or dark green, gold or white. your interior colour limits you.

Hey guys, thanks for the input. I just got the full Gm history package on the car. Really interesting stuff, they make alot of reference to laurentians. They also spend a lot of time talking of 4 doors......... You guys are great thanks again for the input. I am at this point keeping the car, just don't have the heart to let it go! I am painting it, not sure what....?

I was on my way up to Gravenhurst, highway 169 off of 7 west. About 1/2 way to gravenhurst there was a Pontiac 2+2 for sale, looked pretty good, 69 or 70, just wanted to let people know.

Ya pretty cool actually, full engine specs, part numbers, and very little reference made to a 2 door, all the pics are of 4 doors and wagons?

The gold is a very good color on your big car - how about Kandy Gold?

Would be a dazzler IMHO.

Here's a suggestion, (My rule of thumb).
If you're fixing the car to sell it, in the near future, keep it original, what ever the colour.
If you're fixing the car to keep it, your choice, no one has to like the colour but you!
Good Luck.

My 69 gto was limelight green metallic, After the re-spray with base clear, it really popped! Too many cars are done in "re-sale red". If the car was a red car, fine. Just too many out there. Go original I vote.

i decided to go back to the original Limelight as well in base clear, should have the paint tomorrow.

i think it really looks great on Bills 69 SD, the depth it had made up my mind.

hope it looks as nice as his
