I like that also, I am realy starting to appreciate different colour combos . For me it use to be black only in everything but now I like the different interior colour combo's. The red works with this car evan though not recomended.

This car changed hands in the states a few years back, i think it was on ebay. I remember either chatting with the seller or current buyer at the time... interesting car.

only ever seen one other Beaumont with AC and that was at Bothwell a couple of years ago. A freind says his brother had a Black 69 SD with AC. Never saw the car but was supposedly sold in the London area

I have a friend who worked for the General back in the 80's and 90's. He was authorized to order cars as part of his position so he would always order his own company car. He is a car guy so you can imagine having pretty much carte blanche with the RPO codes. His favourite story is ordering a loaded 88 Royale, Navy blue outside with non recommended red leather interior and load to the T's. He got the call from the delivering dealer the car was in. By the time he got there it was sold, the car looked so good they parked it out front and within a few hours offers were being made. Seems like Red is often a non recommended colour, who knows why confuse

It was listed on Ebay in Feburary or March of 2006. I was the 2nd highest bidder. If I remember correctly it sold got $8600. The car was in Lawerenceville Ga when it was listed. The guy that had it listed inherited it from his parents. It was in Peurto Rico until a couple months before it was sold on Ebay. Jeff Carmichael bought the car and took it to Indiana. He kept it for a year or so and sold it to someone in a nearby state, I'm thinking Michigan but I'm not 100% sure on that. I don't know where it is now.
I met Jeff in Pigeon Forge Tennessee a few months after he bought the car. He had seen my car in Pigeon Forge the year before and left a note with his phone number asking about buying it. I called to tell him it wasn't for sale. After seeing my car he decided he had to have a Beaumont. When this one popped up on Ebay he bought it. One funny thing he told me was that the guy he sold it to bought it with the intention of showing it at the Import car shows.

I remember this car being listed on ebay and I bought some NOS parts from the seller at the time. The seller told me so I always thought it was in Chicagoland somewhere. I see the VVS paperwork still shows J Carmichael's name.

Today a good friend of mine sent me some pictures of a car. I had told him a couple of years ago about this car that sold on ebay and it came from Puerto Rico.

The car is sitting on a car lot for sale in West Chicago, Illinois. They are asking $15,900. It has been repainted and has a white painted roof now. My buddy says the underside looks like a new car. The interior is still all original, faded a bit with some cracks in the dash but other than that a really clean car. The original air cleaner is in the trunk in a box. Ther is some slight bubbling under the paint at the front fender doglegs. No pictures of the underside so he didn't know if it had a 12 bolt in it. If it is still there in August when I go down for the Indian Uprising I will get some more pictures and information about the car.

I talked with my buddy in Illinois yesterday and he said this car is still for sale. I am going there in a couple of week to the Indian Uprising All Pontiac Show and plan to go and have a look at this car. I will get some more pictures and data while I am there for anyone interested.

must be almost rust free? or would it have issues with the seawater?
