Wow !! That car looks in great shape and with air yet. Love to take a look under the rear end and see if has a 12 bolt because of the F40 option.

 Your wish is my command

Sue from Lapage Truck and Auto (West Chicago) was nice enough to put car on lift and send me lots of pictures

I was sold    BUT   the car has a 307 glide   and the air is hooked up, by not cold

The suspension could need work..  I have been there, and you can drop a lot of money in a hurry..   Sue was insistant on the close up phots to be sure I was going to be happy   As it turned out,  it unsold me....

I am in Puerto Rico six times a year for business and can confirm there is still a few Beaumonts left on the island. To Fred's question, the sea salt, salt air doesn't seem to affect them. One of my PR colleagues has a 68 Custom convertible that I have been trying to buy for some time but he won't part with it as it was his father's car. There is a ton of Chevelles down there, very few rusted but many beat to hell by the roads. I hope someone here scoops up the 69 Custom...

         Its easy to scoop up!

if you want to buy it for a lifetime deal

and/or you have a body man friend who works for free...

Car would be great at 6500

I calculated the cost at  $11,000 plus $249.00 "lot pac' plus $650.00 to border plus 13%(1642.00) on the 11,249.00  =  $13,541.00 plus trip home plus safety  Paint and interior plus air repairs and its over 20G   easy

Me too! It's a unique Canadian Icon. AC, odd colour and exported. I'd wouldn't change a thing. I'd let the Esprit go for this one.

The colour combo is neat, but the car is over priced. If it was a 350 bucket seat console and guage car then I would consider looking at it. Iam considering to buy a nice clean driver. So I could go to shows and not have to check the weather forcast to see if is going to rain.

I would love to have it but i just bought the 67 and I'm in the middle of another purchase. I think i've pushed the wife to the brink and since she supports me i better back off a little for now. Too cold to sleep in a car

For those interested: This car is coming back to Canada. No I did not buy but have heard from a reliable source that it has been purchased and should be back "home" soon.

And let me guess, Customs will snag the $100 Air Conditioning Tax at the border!

That tax was not in effect when this car was built, but now it is, and it's an a/c car coming in to Canada......
