He is retired and has a CN pension and my sister in law works in local hospital (makes GOOD money) When he LET her come visit in Nov. he gave her $100.00 spending money cheep bugger..
daughter arrives from Whitehorse wednesday. Have all the sleds tuned so the three of us can head up into the mts from the house for a good ride or two, 3,4........ Lots O snow just gotta go. No work until Jan 15th and no I'm not a politician.

I work right up to Dec 24th......high noon. Then over to the Bull n' Finch for a dram with the guys from the truck shop. Supper's at Mom's Christmas Eve, Saturday, The Girl Friend (Angie) and I burn the Buzzard here at The Cave. Sunday, Ang. is making authentic German Rouladin, dumplings, red cabbage, etc. for my Dad. There are chores piling up for Monday and Tuesday. The moons are lining up to buy that C.T.S. on New Years Day.

I'm "on call" so I'll be lucky to get a day off. If your flying think of me, I work for the company that makes the de-icing fluid that keep's everyone travelling. We've been shipping two to three truck load's of the stuff out everyday for the past couple of week's. Lot's of overtime for me!!
Technically speaking, I've been off on holidays since Friday Dec 17. In reality I worked most of the day, every day, since. Lots going on so you do what you have to. Not much progress on home projects though in the meantime. Hope to relax after tomorrow until Jan 3.

Work right up till 4:30 xmas eve, then not till 29th. Bonus turkey is late so I will be scrambling to get one also. Bonus turkey won't be here till 23rd and frozen solid.
off for 1 month, due to sprained left ankle and broken right hand....beleive it or not Id rather be working. I thank my fiance for being so supportive,helpful and my son for being a trooper while Iam down and out. I been off already since last Tues when I broke my hand but was working until then on crutches. Cant use crutches anymore so Doctor wrote me off for 1 month. Unfrtunately ankle hasnt gotten any better. Im worried about long term effects as tendons dont heel like broken bones. Id give anything to be working again and not in pain

With holidays falling on the weekend this year, nice thing is that i still get those days of in lieu whenever i want to use them. Same for any federal stat.
