"Eclipses are a metering nightmare for me! Most of the time the moon comes out looking like a bright baseball because people underestimate how bright a full moon really is. Right now, before the eclipse, Im at 1/125 at f8, ISO 100 on my DA 50-200 (the lens I have with the longest reach)."

No snow here; they're still golfing on green grass around here. But the skies are overcast/foggy tonight so I won't get to see this once in 400+ years event.

The clouds here were high and thin enough to see it right through them. Made for a unique viewing.
Y'know, wouldn't it really suck if you went back in time and were gonna exploit an eclipse to name yourself an all powerful magician ... only to have it clouded out?
