That is a really cool car. Boy can you ever see the Pontiac styling in the front end of this one in the shot below. Lots of  GTO and LeMans in there.

View larger image   Date Listed 22-Dec-10 Last Edited 22-Dec-10 Price $4,500.00 Address Bearspaw Dr NW, Calgary, AB T2L, Canada View map For Sale By Owner Make GM Model Other Year 1964 Kilometers 100 Body Type Other Transmission Automatic Colour Gold Drivetrain Rear-wheel drive (RWD) Fuel Type Gasoline 1964 GM Acadian - Beaumont.    This is a fantastic and super original project car.  It is very rare, being 1 of only 550 built with the original V-8.   These cars were, for the most part, only available in Canada and... not available in the United States.  A GM Acadian Beaumont is a combination of a (similar to) Pontiac Lemans/GTO interior with a body that looks very similar to a Chevy Malibu.  Unlike it's American brother, the Canadian GM Acadian had a completely Chevrolet drivetrain.  This car is a tremendously rare find with only 550 built.  How many can possibly be remaining(???)   From what I can surmise, the car was last on the road in the early to mid '70's and in storage since.  It was originally a rural or northern BC car.  The body is quite remarkable and it promises to be a fun, easy project for anyone interested.    I really hurts me to sell this car but, my situation has changed somewhat and I cannot foresee having the time to attend to it.  I would like to pass it on to a good home where it'll be properly enjoyed by someone with a bit more time to dedicate to it.  Really original and rare cars like this are becoming near impossible to find.    If you are interested, please contact me through this ad.  I am asking $4500 and that is a very very firm price.   Best regards and Merry Christmas!!!
