Spot the mouse I killed (right). Must have came along for the tow ride. The trunk and rear quarters are toast (mouse nests). So far the frame looks great!
No 327 or PG here.
Hardly any interior here.
Mouse condos in the headliner and rear seat. Some good parts here & there.

I don't know these cars very well. But I was at a auto wreckers that I found in the middle of now where a few weeks ago and there was a 4 door car that was all complete except the motor and I think the transmission. I got perfect V-8 350 emblems off it that where the next best thing to being mint. This place is about 2 1\2 hours from my house. The car was dark green .I didn't have my camera so no pics sorry.

2 hours towards toronto or away?
the 350 V8 emblems would be from a '69 which have a simlar nose. '68's would be 307, 327, 396 or 427.
Does it indicate anywhere on the tag that it's an embassy car. you had mentioned earlier that it did.
That car must have been driven hard down the PEI dirt roads judging by the dust in the engine bay! Or do all PEI cars end up that way eventually?
Hi Mark,
I was told that it was an Ottawa Chinese embassy car by the owner. Nothing on the tag. I'm tempted/curious to get the GM paperwork on it.
We have some red, sandy & clay dirt roads down here. It doesn't take long to make any car red (especially a Chinese one).

Hi Jonathan,
It's a shame, but I'm going to part it. Both doors are really good on it, inside & out. Good driver's side front fender, and hood (they need a little work. Good front bumper (just needs replating). Lots of good upper & lower trim, especially the vinyl top trim. Factory rear window defogger, switch, and complete wiring. Good black front seat belts. Good frame. Only a 10 bolt rear end
Does anyone know if '67 & '68 are comparable for doors?

It is a matter of national security that you pee away $25 or whatever it takes to get the GM historical information from George Z at the mothership ASAP on this vehicle......stop....
......report in when you have the required files .......stop............
just kidding...........................

If the doors mount like the chev's then no, 67 and 68 different.

Darryl and Mark, just thinking, the Cuban Embassy is just a couple of km down the street from me, if they would have ordered up a new '67 Poncho with a 396 they could have called it the: Castro Jet!
Triple black, much like the Bat Mobile! Would have been a beaut in it's day...

Here's one of the few things I found left in the glovebox. A 1974 Metric Canada handout used to convert (stick on & mess-up) your speedometer.
By the way, the odometer reads 5843 (105843 likely).
Yep, Batmobile Geoff! (I'll post anything so I can use that emoticon)

Wow, very similar to the GM Zone car I had. Same car in triple green, mine was the 335 horse 427 with cruise and power trunk over and above this option list, but minus tilt wheel, (of all things)! Otherwise, I'd say option for option the same.
Oh, mine was a 2.56 posi as well.
On an interesting note, there is an identical twin to mine in Saskatchewan, right down to the no-tilt-wheel and the owner says it was also a GM Zone car.
