Anybody here put hardtop full quarters on a post ?...can't seem to buy post quarters. Is it just minor mods or alot, you never know with posts. I have a 65 Biscayne and the doors are unique fit in the pillar area. Ken.
I never put on a set but it looks like the c-pillar is more sloping on a hardtop than the post I would measure that area to see how low that section will have to be

Sorry for the confusing posting, I just mentioned my 65 biscayne car to emphasize the possible unexpected differances between a post and a hardtop. The one I'm inquiring about is a Beaumont/Chevelle post car. A friend of mine wants to buy the best full quarters he can buy but he wants to make sure the window /pillar area will fit.
Quarters for the post (27 body) and hardtop (37 body) are the same. The factory quarters have the body style stamp in them along the side of the trunk opening. The factory quarters on my car have one of each on it.
Thanks for the input guys, it'll be interesting to see how good these full quarters are when they get here. I've seen some pretty terrible examples lately on friends projects, sometimes "you get what you pay for" isn't a guarantee of a nice fit.

Most sheet metal has to be installed... lol so the end result, is how good your body man is.. A good body man can make any brand look good OR bad.....

Ken, keep me posted on what and where you get the 1/4's from , quality and price ! I am getting ready to buy the 1/4's and requried sheetmetal for my 68 SD . I am no where near doing the car, but I figure I will stock pile the sheetmetal while our dollar is strong.
I've already bought most of the interior for it, and collected the correct mechanicals.
I need 3 of me to stay on pace with my projects... I'm sure no one here feels like that !!!!!!
