As I mentioned the other day to a chorus of ridicule the Nutcracker is a Christmas Tradition you shouldn't miss when in Toronto. Each year since they were tiny tots we take the family, I don't think I have ever missed a year since 1997. This year it was Big Ray and my two daughters, 18 and 23.
Tina Pereira and Keiichi Hirano performed the lead roles today, Sugar Plum Fairy and Nutcracaker. Photos are not permitted during the show. but Christmas wouldn't be Christmas for my girls without seeing it..

I asked for some stock National Ballet photos, if you pull a camera out in the theatre three guys in black suits are on you and kiss your card good bye. The photos are of the dancers from today.
