As promised...the '57 in paint. Updated June 25

Well, my father-in-law's unfinished '57 Pathfinder Deluxe is getting closer. If all goes well, by driving 'er by summer. It's come a long way, thanks to my friend Lyle. I can hear ol' Don now regarding the color change, "Jesus Christ, what'd you do that for..."

Beauty! Great color blue, and the white 'spear' and top set it off nicely!

Why not blue and white?  Good for you for not going green.

Love the colour "combo" & yes it will look good with the trim on BUT will look even better without those "roller" wheels & tires [ they SUCK big time] Great job, keep at it!!!

Thanks guys, the white is actually a light blue that was chosen to complement the vinyl areas of the seat upholstery.

Update! This one's for you Steve, but I thought that I'd share it with the class. I'm off to the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona Wednesday. I'l have some pics of that in the lounge next week.

That is just BEAUTIFUL mate, just BEAUTIFUL. A man after my own heart because i have and love the 1957 Pontiac Pathfinder Deluxe sedan. I have one in silver and white and i love seeing these wonderful cars saved and restored. The heartfelt family connection is real nice to see as well. Being your wifes dads car before his passing. It is a wonderful way to keep his memory alive. I restored my 57 Pontiac and show it in memory of my dad as well. My dad had one from 1959 to 1970 and i grew up with it. I wish you folks the best of luck with your sweet 57 Poncho. Could you let us know what else you have planed for it like what motor is going in it and what wheels will she roll in. Continued success with that sweet 57 ride. Cheers. George.
