Like I said most off those cars sold. The Acadians were all gone years ago, but there is a few 64-65 Beaumont stuff there but I can't afford to pay 5000 to 10000 for something with no drive train and full of holes. I like the rasta blasta, but he's pricey. Did anybody see him on Casta net? He was on the news because he was contracted to put mats on the cliffs on the sea to sky highway.

He was on the news here in the fall with Premier Campbell making a presentation to the workers on the road widening between Summerland and Penticton.  He's not afraid of heights.

With the Premier? Did they share a special smoke? Ha Ha! They are a few cars there Jerel, have you been there?

No I haven't been there.  Met up with him a couple times, the last time being last summer at the Kamloops show.  He had a couple albums of pictures of his RRSPs as he calls them.  His value of his investment might be a little higher than other peoples opinion of it but he is an interesting conversation.

There is some half grills that are good and the odd eyebrow but most are parts only and no SD trim. He does have a 65 Beaumont rag that's complete but a tree fell on it and last I heard it was 9000.00. It's been sitting for ten years plus. If you get one for 1000.00 a piece it might be worth it. I did propose to buy all the beaumont stuff but I havn't been back and he's rarely home. I know there is two 65 SD's, two 64 SD's, and two 65 custom rags. All are field cars and are really bad but they are there. No 64 Beaumont rags. He only sells full cars and really there is not much that's complete there. Most make that 65 SD drag car look like it was mint. What ever happened to those special parts from that car?

I used to have a body shop in Cache Creek, BC so I know about a few places like this one.
Has anyone seen the stuff in Clinton, (north of Cache Creek) ? There are a few cars right in town but just on the outskirts is a vintage wrecker and he had some very nice stuff.

I spoke with Mike yesterday and he said that this was just one of his yards and there is another yard over towards Falkland . His web site is www.mikesrestos.com  I had some problems getting on his site, ended up going to his facebook account and everything was there. Check it out.....

I've been to the one in Clinton years ago. No camera and my wife was in the truck. At that time you'ld have to move 20 cars to get 1 out....all in bush and trees

he's pricey for stuff.. maybe if you bring him some "treats" you can work a better deal

LOL!!

great to see those cars again, thanks for posting them.

Yep.. Thats Mike and he is a charactor for sure....  Too pricey for what he has..  I have always said put a good price on something and you will sell it.. too high and you will keep it till the day you die and never enjoy the money....  But, If you catch him on a good day at the end of the month when the bills are in you might get a good deal ;>)

That guy north of Cashe creek has passed on, I helped a guy years ago get a 71 Lemans with the GT option on it out of there and it was quite the task.. Like Kim said you have to move 10 cars to get your one.. and he was not cheap.. His wife is running it now and she thinks its all gold but it is rusting away as the prices are high.. no parts.. buy the whole car which is fine ...

That  Yellow 69 GTO is striped to nothing and a rust bucket.. He got it from a buddy of mine in Kelowna on a trade that was only worth a grand and he wants $8000.00 for it.. No interior nada.... I checked the vin and cowl on it years ago and its a gto but nothing special .. It might be worth that if it was a Ram Air V car.. being that neked
