small leds worked fine in instrument cluster, as long as i left original bulbs in the dash for signals, everything worked with the Led's , but when i put led's in the dash thee signal lights would not work, so i guess a new flasher would be required.

they are much brighter then standard bulbs, I will have to put one in (standard) to see the difference, almost like having small headlights in the back !!

I hade to put new sockets in them, the old ones would allow the bulb to go int but not turn because the base is quite square and not tapered like a bulb. first one fit fine but i wanted more Led's the one from lordco isclose to secound pic (you can see hw square base is at bottom)
