My Dad's 67 SD Beaumont


Hi all, thought I would share some pictures of my Dad's 67 SD Beaumont, I just loved this car when I was kid, man I wish we still had it.

You are correct, those pictures are from 1973 and picture of it going down the Drag strip is the old Georgetown Drag strip, he did spend a lot of time at Harveys and street raced it more than at the strip. Been Drag Racing and streetrodding along time, we are currently building a 41 Willys ProStreet for him and will have it out this summer. At one time he owned two 67 SD Beaumonts, the black on black on black in the picture was his and he had a white on black on black as well that was to be for my Mom but sold it. To think he owned two at one time and again I wish we still had them.

My friend Gaeton Plante had a black one he sold to the London area back in the really early 1980's

Maybe Gaeton bought his car it had a radical 427 when he bought it

I had two at the same time in 1995 a 396/325 auto and a 396/350 4 speed - how dumb I was to let thhem go not to mention the the other two

I agree, just a beautiful car. The black car was a 396 auto and the white car was a small block 4 speed. My dad was getting the car ready to run B modified but then just sold it.

This is not the Gaeton Plante from Quebec that had a few SDs is it?

welland originally sudbury had only one black on black 4 speed
