The rear bumper on my 68 2+2 is in need of rechroming. It's got that sandblasted look. But also the ends are slightly twisted and there is a small dent in it. Do the chrome plating places straighten bumpers anymore or do I need to hunt down another bumper. Can anyone recommend a good chrome plating place in Edmonton? Thanks.

Thanks Carl for the info. I guess I'll make a few phone calls before I get excited about replacing mine. I was told that a lot of chroming places shut down due to environmental issues. Just goes to show you don't trust all what you hear - do your own research. Those names you gave me have been around for ever. $800 is more than I was expecting though. I'll get a few quotes and see. I bought a Pontiac hood and trunk lid from rabbit64cs; it was shipped by truck to Newfoundland. The cost was quite reasonable at the time, approx 2005.
gparis7; I hope that was the year and not the cost. lol. Got one quote for rechrome. Approx $650 without looking at it. I think I'll go the good used route so I'll move this to the Wanted section.
