Wanted, 67 Beaumont horn button and wheel.

Does anyone have a deacent 67 steering wheel with horn ring and button for sale? I just bought a 67 Beaumont 2dr post and it has after market wheel. Thanks Ron B. (rrbedard@verizon.net)
What I have is not the 300 wheel but is the 3 spoke with horn buttons like in photo but I need the horn button for it. Thanks BOSSY

Welcome here. I can't help you with the stuff you need, sorry.

I do have to ask you though, is that the Beaumont I saw on ebay last year sometime? It looks familiar.

I bought it on Ebay from Florida last week. It has a 383 stroker motor with a 350 automatic and a 3:23 posi 10 bolt rear. It has 4 wheel power disc brakes and power steering and air conditioning and a 2 1/2" flow master exhaust. Should be a good driver car. Thanks for asking. Ron B.

You may already know, but in the event that you don't, the 67 Beau wheel and horn ring is the same as the 67 Chevelle, which should help the search. Also the '67 Beau horn button is unique to '67 only I believe (and of course not the same as a Chevelle.)
When looking for a wheel, if you have an option, go for an American wheel which is more of a rubber feeling material as I believe they are less prone to cracking.

If nobody here has one for sale, you can check out the following link to a Chevelle forum which might be helpful.

 http://www.chevelles.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=43220&cat=18

(I am not related to the seller, although it looks like we share the same name LOL.)
Good luck, and congrats on the car!

hi ron, i don't like jumping in on certain subjects like this for fear that it looks like i'm trying to push my business down your throats, but because your car is a 2dr sedan (base model) it would have come with the basic three spoke steering wheel with a non-discript cap, again same as the 300 chevelle. nice car, dave

Yikes!  Sorry about the potentially bad steer (and the bad pun).  Thanks for pointing that out Dave!

Ron is correct.

Your car uses the same exact wheel and horn cap as a 67 300 chevelle

It looks like this

This is a pic of my plain beaumont sedan that i sold a few years back
this is the wheel and center you are looking for

P.S.  67 and 68 chevrolet trucks use the same wheel, but different cap.

The Chevelle 300 came with a simple 3-spoke wheel with center horn button.  Color coordinated to match the interior, the steering wheel came in black, fawn, or blue.

Dave, it seems to me I've seen that one in a full size earlier in the 60's, maybe around 63-64 Biscayne? Not certain though.

Dont mean to barge in on your thread....but someone might read this that has a different 67 Beaumont Custon horn button that I am still looking for. (thr one with the big A) I'll pay top dollar! Someone had a 'teaser' pic here with lots of them, but no response for selling them.

I like the base model wheel for the base model car. It just looks right. I used to like the wood wheel in the chevelle SS but now it just doesn't look right to me. It looks good in a Corvette. Good luck finding your steering wheel.

Not intending to hijack the thread but.... is that what a factory delete plate looked like, or is that aftermarket?

Is this the 67 base horn button

This looks like the wheel in  blue car.

the non-discript circled lined cap is a '67 base model cap (for sure) the other cap (in the '68 chevelle dash picture) i have never seen before today ( that i remember at least) and we have at least 300 sixtys and seventys g.m. horn caps in stock right now and have had hundreds before them and don't recall that one at all!
