Hi, I bought a 1968 Camaro and I am looking for the original 396 325 H.P. engine. The original engine was seized up and removed in 73-74 where it sat for 20-30 years on a shop floor with no heads on it. When the previous owner moved it was lost durring the move. The stamped numbers should have: 428802 somewhere in it and the block should have 3916323 at the back of it. If you have a block with these number even close please let me know. The car was purchased in Ottawa but is Quebec so I am posting the add here.

I know that car very well.Originally blue on blue.It sat in a leaky shed for years.Not too far from me.As far as I know it sat with a 454 in it.The guys step son at the time got it out and drove it for one summer and then it was put back in the shed where it stayed for another few years.The original motor for it was still kicking around .The owner sold the place where it was and it went to Ottawa after that.I will talk to the family and see if the original block is still around....Terry
