I think the guy did an excellent job. It isn't a hacked up butcher job. It looks well thought out and executed.
As far as the look of the hardtop, I agree that the roofline does make the car look nasty but I feel that way about Beaumonts and Chevelles, too. Drop tops are cool but I wouldn't own one. Not my thing.

I SAW ONE OF THESE IN RED DEER YEARS AGO, IT WAS VERY WELL DONE AND LOOKED GREAT. I READ IN A MAGAZINE THAT A CONVERTIBLE OLDS CUTLASS ROOF IS QUITE EASY TO INSTALL WHEN DOING THIS.
Love it. But then I like the 1 of none built to look like something the factory should have done. Some day I'm going to build a 65 Caprice 2 dr, just because.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any clear shots of it with the roof up? This is one criteria what makes or breaks the look of a rag...
