I have no favourite (I watch them all) I like bit & pieces of many shows:

Dream Car Garage
Dave's Corner Garage
Past Time
Chop Cut Rebuild
Horse Power, Trucks, Muscle Car (I don't like Extreme 4x4)
2 Guys Garage
Truck U
Car Crazy
My Classic car
Gearz
Hot Rod TV
Pinks (All Out)
Top Ten ------ Of All Time
Overhaulin' (when it was on)
American Hotrod (when it was on)
etc. etc.

It all depends on the subject matter. Any of the above shows can either suck donkeys or be really amazing at one time or another.

Great list Darryl.  I like them all too.  I watch anything automotive related in the winter time due to the nature of my work.  The subject matter can really make or break an episode.  Pass time is likely my second favourite.  Guess I have drag racing in the blood!

I don't mind Dream Car Garage. But I have to admit I miss Tom. Every time Peters new co host comes on , she splits my ear drums. Seriously do the producers not watch their own show ? Chop Cut Rebuild is getting a little better too.
But hands down for me is Stacey David's Gearz.

Tom was great.  I miss him too.  "Do you need a car like this?"  What a great line, but not the same coming from the new co-host.
Chop, cut, rebuild is pretty interesting too.
Stacey David is pretty good when he starts throwing old car parts across the shop floor biggrin

I can't get Dream Car Garage since Speed dropped it. What happened to Tom anyway?

Of the ones that are left, I like Muscle Car, Trucks & My Classic Car. Both formats and hosts have changed on a number of the programs I used to watch; so I don't follow them anymore. Not much on Speed that I watch anymore.

I like Gearz, Pinks all Out, Two Guys garage, but the how to shows are just a 1/2 hr. commerical for the parts their using!!! Never does Stacy, or Brian ever ever, mention the cost of doing these projects, cost of the tools they are promoting,or the parts!!!But they do a good job on explaining how to do different things & procedures. Good learning new idea's!!!
