That's bad news, especially the very last one with the poor guy writhing around on the ground, looks like he is pinned.

I wonder how many of those people who blew through the light were texting?

I've been hit twice by people running red lights (wrecking my 68 Mustang and 97 S-10), once by a woman who ran a stop sign (wrecking my 95 Corvette), and my wife has been rear-ended while stopped at a red light twice. BAM! it comes from nowhere. Nowadays I check cross traffic before progressing through a green light and keep a sharp eye on cross streets too, but not much you can do about rear-enders though.

The one with the 2 fire trucks is weird, guess nobody heard the other's siren?

The one at 2:15 is kind of poetic justice, the offender ended up hitting a traffic pole and a building too, and got toppled over.

And of course my favorite is the dummy who blows by the sheriff's car that is stopped at the red light.

that is my greatest fear while cruising around in the old truck. i've always driven defensive as if everybody is out to get. they teach that on motorcycles, never in blind spots and so. but the one time i got hit there was nothing i could do

We witnessed a car run a light this past summer. She was t-boned by a Dodge van. Her car spun and just missed ours (we were in front at the light). We were in my wifes convertible and we got showered with gravel.

I once braked hard for a yellow light. There was already a cop stopped the other way or I may have went through. A guy behind me in a 4 x 4 with huge mudders stood on his brakes to keep from hitting me, squawking his tires. The cop looked long and hard to see if he hit me, but there were still a few inches between us.
