need to install these. Also the new spindles came 2 inches shorter than stock, does that mean I'll have to cut the spring down some, to maintain a gap bewteen the coils?

I have 14 inch on front and 14.4 on rear  with Brembo 4 piston calipers

What are you wanting to put them on? I have 11 3/4 in,front and rear ,on my 'Chief. All Corvette-C3.
