i just came across this sight this morning.i know this is a long shot but i am just wondering if my dads old car is out there.he ordered it in 68 it was a 68 sd convertible with a 325hp 396 and a 4 speed trans.coulor was blue with white top and white interior.car was purchased i think in kindersley sask and was traded in prince albert sask on a new chevelle in 1971.he always talks about this car and is always wondering if it is still out there.he remembers the day it came on the truck and i think he still has the bill of sale.thanks.

Welcome here.

I think there is only a total of 65 other cars like it out there if I recall right, so keep searching online for 68 SD convert and you may well have success.

And you have come to a great spot, there is a lot of guys on here that are Beaumont fans. I would say this would be one of your best shots at finding it. Don't give up. It would be wonderful to see you find it!

I've lived in PA since 1982, can't say I've ever seen it. BUT not saying..

I know of a 68 SD hardtop that has not seen the light of day in 20 years, I've been bugging the guy for a peek...

ooopps ,, the car to your left in my Avatar has not seen the light of day in the 14 years I've owned it ,,,yeeesh,,,some people ...I better not condemn..

the aqua blue one is a SK car it's whole life, but is a dark interior , bench seat , and is a manual , BUT a 3 spd Manual.....

I was told it was completly original other than one older repaint....

thanks for the responces.i have check the regeristry on this sight and did not see it.i have called my dad and he is gonna try to dig out the bill of sale to get the vin.any time i mention this car we have to listen to all of his stories of out running the 427 byscane that the police in kindersly sask had,and racing his buddies who all had bought new muscle cars in 68.i am not looking to purchase the car back-i would have to win the lotto to do that-but this car was a big part of my parents life,it was even their wedding car.any ifo on the blue convertable in the 1st pic?looks like has sask plates on it.

You said the magic words if member 2qwik2c reads your post. He has a 427 Biscayne police car I believe, and it comes from somewhere on the prairies.

That car is still in the Saskatoon area, the owner is a very private person, he didn't offer too much info. I told him about this site. I'll dig around for his name, I do see him at swap meets and such, but like I said, he was very private.

I have a 67 427 2DR Biscayne that was sold new in Biggar. I can't say for sure that it is/was a cop car as it was not ordered as a cop car from the factory. But it has some strange features that seem like cop car additions?? Ask your dad if the 427 cop car he out ran was a off white colored 67 2DR sedan??
