My old 4 speed Grande Parisienne

Sitting here thinking about my old car. I called the owner when I finally got him tracked down 3 years ago and never have heard from him since. I thought it was time to bug him again so I just fired off an email to him to see if I can get an update on the car.

I often wonder what would happen if I contacted Kathryn (an old girlfriend) ... biggrin

Except for my one lucky hit (meeting and marrying my wife), I've always had way more success with cars and dogs.....

Carl, I was just thinking about the original owner of my 64 Catilina, I traced her down in 2005, thru the internet,& ended up talking to her on the phone. Sent her pictures of the car, called her again when we were at the POCI convention in Greensville S C No answer, wanted to get a picture of her with the car!! Never heard back from her, hate to call & ask for her if somethings "happened" Strange how things "pop" into your head & rattle around in there

I dug out my old "looking for" thread and noticed I mentioned I had his # and address. Took a look, sure enough, have that too!

So, off to google street view and there's 2 covered cars in the driveway, one of them is BIG!!!

Yup, that's why if I don't get an email back I'm gonna try calling. If that doesn't work, I have his mailing address. If that doesn't work, I have his son's address.

Funny thing is, I checked in the old thread from 3 years ago as to exactly the day I called him. It was 3 years ago last night, Feb 4th, 2008.

Either he sold the car to Carl or won the 6/49 lottery.
