Yesterday was my wife's birthday-I picked up a DVD for the kids to give her as a gift then we watch as a family (time spent is the gift)
We watched it tonight-Little House on the Prarie "I'll be waving as you drive away" Its a tear jerker about Charles' daughter Mary going blind and the new economy breaking the town----------------At one point Micheal Landon says "I spent my whole life worrying about things that don't matter" this was as he talked about the town's economy not mattering but his 15 year old daughter's sight--- 2 hours well spent today
Ken, you can't match the values in some of those old shows. Values doesn't sell today I'm afraid.
I watched part of an old Walton's episode the other day in the lunchroom at work (dish there, no dish for us at home here). I laughed at how old fashioned it was but it's hard to find fault with the lesson in it.
