Most of us are up (8 year old son still sleeping after most of the on the outdoor rink with buddys) Cooked up a whole mess of bacon and sunny side up eggs and half of a loaf of toast. The smell in here is AWSOME! Just though about how lucky I am, and had to post. On my way back up to  make my eggs now, maybe see if I can't get the boy up ( Don't understand how he can sleep through the smells in here!)sunnysideup.gifcoffeecup.gifhungry.gif

Bacon, eggs and toast (dubbed the "heart stopper") is one of our favourite meals too. We often do that at the lake too.

Good for you for stopping to smell the roses. (Re breakfast...To quote from City Slickers after Curly had died in his sleep... "The man ate bacon at every meal... you just can't do that!")

I love peameal, my wife doesn't like it, so we don't get to have it here at home.

There's nothing quite like a homemade bacon and egg breakfast. My wife will often make homemade pancakes (with maple syrup) to go with it. A slice of fresh tomato on the side as well. MMMMM

Must have been a favorite meal of my father because if mom wasn't home to cook, we had bacon and eggs for supper! Still one of my favorites!
