Not sure how long ago it was, but I recall seeing this car when they first found it. Thought we might have discussed it on CP but memory fails me. Anyhow, it is a very cool car that was recently sold and the new owner is going to get it back to the way it was found, with shag carpet.
I love it.Good to see the owner is keeping it like it is.It would be a sin to put that back in stock form.Too many cars from back in the day have lost their history..
WOW! check out those pizza cutters! Im with 65 post where are all the old school cars from the early 70s? Cars like that are what made me the hotrodder I ams 2day

Barn finds like this are really amazing and it is great that this car has had so much exposure. I'm thinking that we'll see this thing at Barret-Jackson one day due to the publicity it has had. Likely bring more money than a fully restored L78 Chevelle.
That is a time capsule car to me. Back in the early '70's there were a lot of cars done up like that. I bought a 65 Corvette that had those same Hooker side pipes, with the baffles taken out. It sounded killer with a small block. A big block would definitly sound nastier.
The "bigs & littles" for wheels is a true '70's look.
Is this Chevelle a good example of what all the magazines are now referring to as the "Day 2 Look"?
The mags claim that many are taking their restored to original classic cars and putting them back into the day after bought new look by putting modifications like headers, mag wheels, racing slicks, traction bars, etc. to get that "Look".
