What cars are Canadian Pontiacs ?

I'm new to this Pontiac thing so go easy. The Acadian's and the Beaumont's are I realize but how do you tell with the rest? Sure, lift the hood and look at the tag but other than that, and how far back ? 1920 ? 1940?  Are there American GTO"S , LEMAN"S ,STRATO CHIEF"S as well as Canadian ? Please, enlighten me.

So in 1970-73 GTO'S were Canadian made. But were they made in the US as well, if so how do you know the diff other than the tag. Same with LeMans and Tempest in 1970-72.
Is the Star Chief a US built car?

in 70 and later GTos

letters in the vin ie B and P are us cars  0 is Oshawa
and the cowl tag has a OS before the body #






any pre 70s canadian pontiacs will have a 7 prefix on the style# ,
american is a 2

everything changes after 1969
1970 parisiennes and Acadians still retaines the 7
Lemans ,Gto went to a 2 in Canada
