I moved to Lethbridge Alberta just about 4 years ago and always had a hard time finding out where cruises and show and shines were gonna be. Even last year I missed a couple I would have went to if they were advertised more. So I got my self domain name and build my first website to make it easier for others. This is my first crack at web building but its getting better daily. Thought somebody else here might like to do it for their area. Cost me about $50 to set it up and ill spend $100 on advertising. (mostly handing out fliers and car events.) So...tell me what you think. Theres a small forum and i really just got started on so its not worth looking at yet but I think the rest of the site looks not to bad for a noob. http://lethbridgecarshows.com/
Thanks for looking. Paul

Have you tried looking at the " Northwest Cruise Calendar " ? They have most of the S&S for Ab, Sk, & BC. It is usually pretty good. Here's the link: http://members.shaw.ca/calgarycc/
For some reason I cannot make the link work on this post. Copy and paste it into the addresss bar and it works.
I was in Lethbridge last Sept, stayed at Paridise Canyon, and I had no idea there was such a classic following in the city. But at the same time, I suppose Lethbridge being rather the hub of southern Alberta, it would tend to bring in a lot of nice stuff from the surrounding smaller communities. And Alberta does have lots of nice cars and Cp's. Beautiful area I might add, I'd have no problem ever living there, and I was facinated by that high level train bridge...even bought a book describing it's construction.
Cheers and good luck on the venture.

Glad to see your website. Grew up in Coaldale, just outside of Lethbridge. There were tons of really cool cars when I was growing up.
There was a guy in our town who had a 69 Acadian with a 454 in it, black with humgous tires on it. My inspiration!!
Our son and daughter in law live in Pincher Creek and we get out there fairly often. If you wish, we could maybe meet next time we are out there.
Like your site!!

Thanks Ray...There was a 69 Acadian for sale at last years street machine weekend. Might have been the same one? was looking pretty rough but well worth salvaging. There were loads of cool cars around here. I remember a couple 68/69 chevelles with the huge rake look. Those are the ones that got me into it.
Sure next time your out this way send me a message through my web site.

Thanks ! I'm getting better at updating it and it's growing daily. Lethbridge has a HUGE classic car following. At night in the summer every parking lot on the main strip turns into a mini show and go. Theres a car show pretty much every weekend 2-3 on some so i'm just tryin to help out the comunity a bit.
