I'm getting ready to paint & detail my trunk on my 64 beau custom . It was worked on before and appeared to be painted body colour,...is that original ?....does anyone make a original trunk mat ?.....how about decals ? thanks for any assistance or advice or picts.confuseconfuse

Body color (yes), I have a mat but don't know where to get another, the decals are the same for a Chevelle (jacking instructions etc)(posi dif warnings etc)

makes sense.....the jack has "1964 chevelle" stamped on it, do you glue the mat down if I can get one for a beaumont ?

Correct on the body color underside of lid and the whole trunk compartment too

The decals pictured are wrong for canadain cars


in early 1964 (like before december) the jack decal was like the first pic
in late 64 it looks like the second picture

both are available from osbornreproductions.com

posi decals should be the yellow background as pictured in #3

Yep, this is what my '64 Parisienne has on the trunk lid.

Be careful with the mats though - I bought one for my 66 Beaumont. Looked great, until I lifted it in the spring. I had condensation under it so the mat was keeping the trunk floor nice and moist. Fortunately, it's cold enough in my storage that it would have been ice for most of the winter.

I still use it, but I remove it before putting the car away in the fall.

I guess I have seen the Chevelle ones used on cars because they couldn't get the others. Are the ones shown for the canadian cars available in reproduction?

NOS can supply the trunk mat.  www.nosreproductions.com  part# 1015075  /            C$49.84  I f  'Crowsfeet,  is not the correct pattern for the beaumont we can have it made any pattern; just let me know. As a poncho member you may deduct 10% from the price

All those decals are avail from jimosborn decals.
they are about 5 bucks US each.

Excellent quality.


Correct on the mat, they are moisture traps and the reason we all have cars with rusted out trunks.
I wouldnt give my worst enemy a trunk mat.

Just use it during a car show, then file it away.
