Well I'm sure you'll enjoy it Pascal. I've viewed his collection on the web before and it looks impressive. I'm heading down there this coming weekend but am a little further south in Ft. Lauderdale and all I could find was the Packard museum so will see how the schedule works out. Have fun.

We are about 20 miles south of Muscle Car City. In fact, the annual car show in the parking lot is next Saturday and I will be taking the Acadian. You should know it is a couple hours south of Tampa, depending on where you are staying. My personal opinion is this place is about a 6 on a scale of 10. I'm probably a little bias because I'm an Acadian/Nova fan and he only has a couple of these cars. The collection is mainly Pontiac GTO and Corvette's. If I had to choose, I would go to the Drag Racing Museum before this one. I have been there 5 or 6 times so this is not a one time impression. Also, I have seen Muscle Cars all over the U.S. and parts of Canada. Therefore, it may not be fair of me to say I wasn't overly impressed. The weather should be great by the time your here, enjoy that and if you have extra time while visiting the museum, google Punta Gorda, FL there are some great sights and dining.
If you don't mind a bit of a drive to the north, Don Garlits museum is really interesting as well - lots of drag racing stuff from his career, and the 60s. But also lots of antique cars, engines, memorabilia.
I was down there a couple weeks ago. Nice place. One guys dream and passion turned an old Walmart into a automotive showroom spanning over 80 years. He owns everyone of the cars...over 200 with about 60 more they have to find room for! Very cool place! Here is a sampling...
