got bored so i thought i would draw up an artists rendering of my 69 2+2 sorry there is no colour yet its going to be dark red with a black top. this pic doesnt really do justice as most of the custom work will be interior but i will do a rendering of that too hope you all enjoy
Great drawing Chip ... errrr ... I mean Mike. Are you going to try to colour it with a brush and markers?

Hey!!! If I draw a sketch of my 52 Torpedo back, put some "high lighter" on it, does that mean it's finished & I don't have to go out in the garage anymore???? Didn't think it would be that easy!!! Nice sketch by the way.

Actually your rendering matches my old 2+2. Silver with a black top. Perfect. You'll have to loose the bodyside moulding though, that's Parisienne only.

This is the drawing of the car. I'm going to build someday......
That scoop looks like the one my Dad had grafted on a hood for my Rag!! I believe it was off a late '60's Ford if I recall... I didn't like it and wanted the factory look!
mine is going to be a 2+2 custom clone that is the reason for the side molding and i havent decided if im going to put on the gilles yet(really depends if i can find em)and yes im going to add colour and fine tune it not bad for less then 1/2 hr.

My friend Will installed the tear drop on his car in 1967 At that time it was not thoight to be a Ford scoop Just a scoop for clearance......
Carl, I remember "hangin" out at harvey's in the late 60's in the east end of Toronto & those tear drops where quite popular but mostly on 62 to 66 Fords, a few Nova's & early chevy 11's Brings back some thoughts of "the OL Days" of DRAG RACING on Danforth at Warden

I actually bought a tear drop scoop for the Chief, and couldn't face the jokes of the Ford scoop (after 40 years they are now considered, more Ford)
So I bought a 66 extra hood, cut a hole in it, sandblasted it , had it color matched and painted and installed a SD hood scoop and didn't llike it I gave the tear drop scoop away, sold the SD scoop to a member and have a beautiful 66 hood in storage....
