You've got that right ... "Island time".
Try getting through a checkout here without somebody stopping to talk to, and show pictures to the cashier for 15 minutes of the birth of their two-headed cow!biggrin

But the lobster dinners at the churches on the weekends are awesome!

Spent a weekend in Summerside on my first honeymoon. Fantastic place to be.

Unless it's not "his" car........hopefully it doesn't belong to someone that has been away for a long time (army), and that is what the holdup signing papers are. Is there any indication of a name that it may have been registered in (glove compartment-gas receipt, anything?) Good luck. Personally, I'd go the cop route and quit pissing around. It may already be too late if there is a problem.
P.S........Remember what we were taught, if it's too good to be true..........

if i lived down there i would kick his door down after the 4Th week and take the papers by force......on another note  guys don't get him too worried about the car this guy might be just  a really really really really really really lazy person and maybe forgetful you know. Ive met a couple people like that so and again go to the police don't get a record for something stupid like this.....

get ready for the worst hope for the best thats about all you can do to settle your mind

There is another avenue if you don't get the "papers" and the vehicle has no Identification what so ever and the car is not subject of criminal activity i.e. stolen. I don't like this avenue personally but if you plan to keep the car you could get a provincially assigned VIN so you could register it and drive it.

Just a thought to get your car on the road. You haven't lost yet.
