Today in western Ontario...

A Ontario senior citizen drove his  brand new orange Camaro out of a General Motors dealership in London, ON.  Taking off down the road, he pushed it to 100 kph, enjoying the wind  blowing through what little hair he hadleft.

"Amazing, just freaking amazing.. so smooth...", he thought as he flew down the 401, pushing the pedal even more. He was lost in the bedazzlement of speed as his speedometer crept higher and higher.

Looking in his rear-view mirror, he was snapped back into reality as he watched an Ontario Provincial Police trooper with his red and blue lights flashing and siren  blaring pull up behind him.

He floored it to 160 kph, then 180, then 190. Suddenly he thought, "What the heck am I doing? I'm too freaking old for this kind of crap!" He then turned off the freeway and down a side street and pulled over to await the  trooper's arrival.

Pulling in behind him, the trooper got out of his cruiser and walked upto the Camaro. He then motioned for the driver to roll down his window so he could talk to him.

He  looked at his  watch, then said, "Sir, my shift ends in like 30 minutes or so.  I am not particularly looking forward to the two hours of paperwork this little joyride of yours is going to cause me. Today is Thursday and I'm looking forward to a relaxing four day weekend working on my Beaumont restoration.
If you can give me one really reason for speeding and driving like a fool, and I do mean a damn good reason, I just might let you go."

The old gentleman paused, looked the trooper dead square in the eye, and without a flinch, he said:  "Three years ago, my wife ran offwith an O.P.P. trooper.  I thought you were trying to bring her back."

With a tip of his hat the trooper replied, "Have a good day, sir," and walked back towards his cruiser...

True that! LOL!

As far as it being southern Ontario, isn't that a matter of perspective? We all know that half of Ontario doesn't exist to the outside world.

There is only a place called Toronto ... Ontario doesn't exist.
