Some bigger rims give a stock car a different look...  biggrin

I always like extra sets of wheels to use at various functions

I saw a Lemans on a for sale site with  nice rims

Its personal preference....

I  hate the 20's on my Camaro w/ 2 inch sidewalls and we have 4 inch pot holes

Only way is to trial fit them but I think they will be TOO WIDE for the wheel wells & may hit on the frt. when turning!! IMO it will look "SILLY" with those on it BUT, "IT"S YOUR CAR!!!!

hey 427Carl, what do you suppose the correct offset should be?

the picture of the Impala that carl posted is what i am going for, but i want to put some Coy wheels which will look a lot sportier and less gangster
especially with 18" X 8" fronts
the narrower fronts will probably also help with the rubbing issue while turning, usually 18" X 8" are not supposed to rub at riding height

i will keep my blue '64 CS convertible stock, and i will drop & add sportier wheels to the new 64 CS convertible i just bought
so i will have one for every occasion  ;)
