RE: Conroy ads (1966 427 wagon )

Waaay Ceyepopping.gifeyepopping.gifL thread!!!
WOW on the '67 Strato Post Cop car!.
I'd like to have that Healey today also a few of the Vauxhalls and lots more too!.
In the ad w/ the Cheetah, note the MKV11 after the word Beaumont?.
MK1V is a Big Block, what's a MKV11???

If we could only go back in time and bring them home with us. I would love the 64 Acadian wagon.

Although it's all slightly depressing, thanks for posting!

I pullled a 67 396 GP parts car out of the Pembina Triangle years ago. 75 bucks!  For me, the Pembina Triangle is GOOD luck!!!

I hope to get there when the snow disappears so I can see this area... Mind you, I won't be going thee in a BB Pontiac, that's for sure!!! (lol) The cluster is paid for so I will keep in contact with you and old goat when the time arises!!!

Hope the triangle will reveal and give up more stuff when I get there rather than things disappearing!!!!

Great slice of car history captured in these ads. Some really interesting pieces on the market back then. Anything with a 396 or 427 appeals seems they were relatively plentiful.

Pembina Traingle - what's that? Did I miss something?

Pembina Triangle is where big blocks go missing! If your big block goes there, it may never come back.

Oh yeah, it's also the part of the world where Carl Stevenson lives! Now, there might be some connection.....

Anybody got any of those great clip art drawings of 50's 60's and 70's Pontiacs from the yellow pages to post? They were line illustrations done and placed above dealer ads.
