Todd what's your thoughts on value ? I re call quoting a price on your X father in law 's and it went for more and more again on a flip

Nice ones were 60-70 but I'm seeing 40-60 now a guy down here bought a decent driver for 20 or should I say stole

20 years ago projects were 10 and together were 20-30

Let's hear the "whatts it worth" from all

This musta been the "not for sale going to fix it some day " car !

Those stripes make me wonder if the car has a bit of a race history. That could make a big difference. I'm thinking low 20's. It's better than my ex's fathers car imho.

I would have guessed over 20, but after a little looking, I'd guess between 8-12k . Below is an ad from Feb 2011 with a driver for 31k obo

These solid axle Corvettes bring way too much at any auction. If it still has the vin plate attached. Some T.O. Corvette club a$$hat with too much cash wanting to show off for the "clubby" a$$hat friends will pay over $20k is my bet. Then they will send it out to be over restored without lifting a finger themselves other than to write a cheque!
I loved these cars years ago and had a '60, but the clowns that seem to own them now only care about bragging rights and looking down their noses at people.
These were a handful to drive with the kingpin front end, vague steering & brakes but they were definitly old school fun!

I don t know if its better but it appears more complete at least not torn apart and in boxes
Bet there's a reserve. They ll be the players and the dreamers

Way better off buying a driver but lotsa people wanna buy the dream

I still can t believe they got that for your father in law's

Hey Ken, you will remember back in the day when they were just cars...... cool cars but still just cars and not too far out of reach for most blue collar guys.
I think it would be great to just get it running and safe to drive, then leave the old school patina look. How many dickweed Corvette Club Clowns (yes NCRS guys I'm talkin about you) would that pissoff?

I just noticed the "lucas" style hih beams so maybe there is a racing history here. The Corvette guys are a breed all their own. A friend of mine had a 63 Slit window that he took to a corvette show!! He said "never again" the other owners "ripped " his car saying he had the wrong heater hoses , clamps were at the wrong "angle" wrong tires, radio not "CORRECT etc. He told them to "shove it where the sun don't shine" asked if they drove their POS down to the show?? they didn't & he said "Well I did & thats what the cars for " Think they are a "bit" anal, & heard the GTO club is similar???   Anybody know!!!!

I'm not really big on Vette's but there's something about that one that's really floats my boat. If I had the bucks I'd love have it. I'd restore it to driver quality and have some fun!
I like this look:

If that car is the original Frost Blue, it's one of 1024 painted that colour.
