Well...I'd like to say its another pontiac for the stable, but my son insisted on a wagon for his first, so its a '60 Chev brookwood just north of saskatoon. Its actually not the trailer I need,
i have my brothers but no truck big enough to haul it. I had a good experience having my '59 hauled up from mississippi, thought maybe someone in Canada is doing the same.

Rabbit64, do you have a link to the guy advertising "going west"? I'm about 30 minutes from Sicamous, in Armstrong. I may try phoning a few of these guys this weekend. Thanks for the help all, and its not even a pontiac!
Okay, where is that boneyard ? That is a little slice of heaven!
That was a little town in Saskatchewan, but I can't remember the name. On highway 16. You could see the yard from the highway.

It is Rods project cars in Colonsay. Very nice guy. He had a Beumont for sale and it made on a discussion here and people didn't seem to impressed that he was a dealer. As I said very nice guy, hot rodder from way back likes to deal in person to meet the people he deals with. Sorry I don't have the contact info for him.
On the related note to hauling. I used "Auto Haulaway" to get my Impala from Britannia Beach to S'toon for 500$ in '94. I also used "Select ......"? To get my Goldwing out of Ohio to S'toon 625$ in '03.
So I checked the 2 guys listed on this thread-1800 was the cheaper one of the two. Considering I had my 59 Pontiac hauled from Mississippi for a grand, I think I need to look a little more? Its hard to justify paying more for shipping than you paid for the car to begin with.
I'll PM you my friends phone #, He is in Sicamous now, but from Prince Albert area, makes trips back and forth. I spoke with him the other night , he might be able to help , not sure on a time line..... you two will have to talk details...

Can anyone recommend a person or company that does car hauling in western Canada? Found myself a saskatchewan field car that needs a ride to B.C.!
Hi,
If you are still looking for a resource may i suggest uship. My father and I as well as the business I work for have used their site several times with fantastic results. Create an account, post what you want to ship and hauling companies will bid for you haul. The best deals are rigs going your route with space left as its just gravy for them. My dad got his 51 Silverstreak brought from Windsor to Scarborough for 500.00 and I sent a work van and trailer from Toronto to Vancouver for 1900.00 . That s how I moved my car as well.
Here is one guys contact info we used, he does local and long distance.
