A Beaumont build thread (Not mine unfortunately LOL)

Attached is a link to a "build" thread for a 66 Beaumont.  It is an older thread, and I know nothing about the car other than what is seen in the thread.  Having said that...WOW, what a car!
Thought you all might find it worth a view:

Amoung other things, I like the factory dash (complete with AM radio) and the after market gauges that replaced the originals...

I just noticed while looking at the gauges...  If you look close enough, you can see that he has modified the original "single" turn signal indicator to be a "dual".
Man a lot of work went into this one...

No messing around on that build. This guy wasn't afraid of spending a $ I like the colour and the look of the two tone moulding. I have considered adding them to mine but I can't see myself drilling holes in my car.

-The air cleaner hold down is milled out of solid aluminum,to match the grill spear,as are the valve covers to match the emblems on the trunk as well as above the glove box.
-The exhaust is all flowmaster custom made to fit this car.The exhaust was then all ceramic coated the same as the headers,
-The shroud is a one of a kind, cut with a water jet then highly polished to match all the rest of the polished aluminum.

...Yeah, I'd say money was not object LOL!
Re the two tone moulding, if you're refering to the factory 66 SD side moulding, yeah even that stuff is expensive to purchase (re-pro stainless steel) and it's pretty much impossible to find original.

That sure makes me want to dig into my 66 SD 4spd car. There's really nice chrome on these cars.

Actually I am refering to the moulding that wraps around the roof pillar where it meets the body. Two tone or vynil roof or it was available as just a chrome accent.

Nice car - the trim on the Beaumont is so much nicer than on the same year Chevelle.
