Great to see your car at the top of the page Rick. I have also been at a number of shows where Rick has driven and always enjoy his visits to the Okanagan. It's a treat to see such a unique combo and I'll also agree how nice it is to see it get driven so much all over the country. Good job with your car and always a joy to talk to you.

This car was originally sold by Mann Motors in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. It was rescued by a kid in High School in about 1984 and hauled to Calgary. The kid spent a few years getting the car presentable. He had to do some body work. There was a replacement quarter on the passenger side. As I found later, they didn't straighten everything behind and around the quarter. The tailpanel was still bent, trunk pan wrinkled. and the wheel well was crumpled. The drivers side quarter looked better, but it was a good bondo sculpture job. The previous owner painted it red and after many years of soul searching I decided to leave it red. The car was apparently used until 1992 (last registration) and then mostly parked in a car port until I bought it. The kid, who was then about 30 years old needed cash and both he and his mother cried as I was completing the deal. He told me that he was born in 67 and the first car he remembered was the 67 2+2 ragtop that his father drove. I think it was parked because it needed a clutch and ball joints. It also needed some parts that I didn't even know were missing, like the 2+2 emblems on the quarters and the tail-end of the console where the courtesy light should have been.
