Now that I have your attention who owns it? I have old GM docs that show that it exists but where? Please don't ask for a copy because it has my 64 SD 4spd HT on it and I will not give a copy to anyone but there is a 8867 4 spd on it so there is a  64 SD rag rare 4 spd out there!

I'm pretty sure Mike from Chase with all the cars has it now. A good friend of mine in Kamloops had one for a few years and stripped everything from it as he is doing a 2 door. He was originally going to do it for his wife but realized that time is ticking and doing one car right now is enough. Mike picked it up from him about a year ago. Could well be other ones.

Are you sure your not confusing a Beaumont with Mikes 64 Chevelle convertible 4 spd?

Nothing wrong with that but a real 4spd 64 Beaumont convertible 4 spd? Are you sure Jerel? The sheet I have also showed 4 SD 64 Beaumont HT 4 spd's. Where are all these cars?

It hasn't been that long ago that Mike picked it up. Probably a year or less. I think it was last spring. I think he gave him $1500 for it but there wasn't much left except it was what it was. I saw it briefly, we just uncovered the tarp off of it. It had a power top and was really rough.

I bought a 4 speed tranny a month ago from a guy that said it came out of a 65 SD Beaumont convertible. It is dated may or june. It has a 429 tail stock on it so I think the car had to be a 64. He pulled the motor and tranny 20 years ago. sold the motor last fall. It was a 283

Like I said they are out there but where? I really don't think that they are worth alot of money but they are rare. I really didn't think that there was 64 rags that were 4spds so it's good to see that they exist.

my brother has a 64 sd rag with a stick in it its 80 miles north of kamloops in a town called clearwater, he has had the car for 30 years now, its a 283 car

Cool,  do you have any pictures? With the top dog engine being a 283 4 barrel I think they would all be 283's. Is it all done?

I have a 64 beaumont SD-4 Speed .......will post picture of data tag ......no camera......its pretty well a basket....but restorable.....lot of original stuff missing...
