Keith s. A friend from Belleville told me about it
There were a set of tags/GM documents and a southern shell floating around about 8 years ago
I located a super survivor L78 M22 car for a guy out of welland a few years back wish I coulda bought it myself. I ll post a couple pics when I get home. I always wanted a good survivor car (hence the beaumont I was talking about )
Wow, I love survivor cars too- looking forward to those pictures.
As for the tags/documents i'm assuming they were for a COPO? Do you remember who the selling dealer was?
this is the L78 M22 car-PW, AM/FM 8-track, rosewood, 26,000 miles was one owner orig paint-not plated since 72 (so if you think about it it was sort of high mileage seeing it wasn't out in the weather !)
the tags were COPO don t remember the dealer but I believe it was a blue car
What an awseome car! Did you say you found that in Welland? Is the color Champagne? Could you promise you'll call me or e-mail if you ever find something like that again!
It was one of those legends in the garage-except this time it was there-wish I coulda bought it-came up during not so great financial times-I can check but it may be available now through the current owner
I know L78 is big but to me the M22 was the storey then all the other great options-the best part was the condition of the car-theres quite a few stone chips along the bottom but just an incredible piece---------gold with a black vinyl-thats the original laquer so it may look off in the pictures---he said third set of tires ! had headers but still had manifolds and smog stuff

That colour would have been Olympic Gold Barry. It is the original colour of my '69 rag. What an awesome local find Ken!

garry that about 5 years ago not long after losing the Atlas job I talked to the owner in 02 after selling me 65 corvette but he wasn t ready to sell yet. When he was ready to sell I was in no position to buy. I d love to have it but the 67 SD 396 or the 66 SD rag are more up my alley anyway

So the car is still around and available? In this economy, they all seem to be popping up!
